The other day I fired up a WCF service for the “Take Control of Messages” post and to my surprise a test client opened up which felt very similar to SoapUI.
Loading & Adding the service reference (happens auto-magically)
Double-clicking on a service operation brings up the test form.

How would this relate to installing VS 2010 pro trial version, then activating with a Microsoft Select key later? Would you have to re-install the Select Media?

I am not familiar with the Select program, however, if you have access to the product through MSDN.com you should be able to go there, claim your key, and then in VS 2010 go to Help -> Register Product and enter the key. That should activate it without requiring a reinstall or the media.
